Rueben C. Cásarez, Senior Counsel at Wells Fargo & Co., has been practicing commercial and transactional law for 30 years. He practiced with Butler & Binion, LLP for more than 15 years before joining Wells Fargo's predecessor bank, First Interstate Bank of Texas, as Vice President and Senior Counsel in 1995. He is the primary legal resource for the commercial lending activities of Wells Fargo Bank's Commercial Banking Group in the south central United States. He also has primary responsibility for development and maintenance of a significant portion of Wells Fargo's commercial lending documentation systems. Rueben has served as President of the Houston Housing Finance Corporation and has represented both the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Association for the Advancement of Mexican Americans as General Counsel.
