Houston Housing Authority has a corporate promise that says we will "treat customers, team members, partners and community members fairly, respectfully and with dignity, conduct business in accordance with the highest ethical standards…," and "effect positive change in lives and communities citywide." These promises get summed up in three simple but powerful words: service, trust, and progress.
Those values reflect the core of what I try to do every day which is to serve people, keep their trust, while changing lives and communities for the better. I'm honored that the Board has entrusted me to carry out these values while leading the Houston Housing Authority.
