Child Care Center
The Child Care Center (5,998 square feet) near the Historic Oaks of Allen Parkway Village and Kelly Village supplies a safe and convenient location to meet the child care needs of Housing Authority developments, as well as the surrounding community. The highly-attractive new facility is equipped with staff offices, fenced playground areas, four classrooms and two activity rooms. Scholarship Opportunities
Numerous public housing industry associations present annual scholarships to deserving high school seniors whose families are public housing residents or voucher program clients. For more information, please contact Mrs. Renee Lewis, Office of Client Services at 713.260.0715.

Student Internship Training Program
The Human Resources department conducts a Summer Student Internship Training Program to provide mentorship, training and professional work experience to high school and college students. Young people currently living in a Housing Authority development between the ages of 16 to 21 serve as agency interns gaining valuable experience and summer income.
