Owners choosing to utilize this new feature must first create an account, which allows them complete autonomy when it comes to managing the properties they list on GoSection8.
Please note that the GoSection8 online database of available units is intended as tools to help voucher tenants find affordable rental properties in the private market, which is generally the first step in the process to participate in the program. Once an agreement between a tenant and property owner is reached, the Housing Authority must approve the property and process the lease documents.
You may visit the City of Houston website to view the exact location of a particular property. The Houston Housing Authority will only assist families selecting properties within the agency's territorial jurisdiction. Please refer to HHA's zip code list and jurisdiction map for further information.
