Moderate Rehabilitation

The Moderate Rehabilitation Program is a unit-based rental subsidy program for low- to moderate-income individuals and families. The program is handled on a referral basis from the actual sites and/or property owner.  The Houston Housing Authority does not accept applications for this program; applications for this program must be completed on-site.

Applicants with incomes between 50% and 80% of Houston's average median income are eligible. Selected families and individuals generally pay 30% of their adjusted income for rent.
