The agency's sustained efforts to help low- to moderate-income families acquire homes reflect our commitment to promoting economic self-sufficiency. These initiatives offer financing assistance, as well as homebuyer education and pre- and post-home purchase counseling.
The Historic Homeownership program features several newly constructed or rehabilitated homes in Houston's Fourth Ward community. These 1- and 2-story homes are slated for sale to prospective homeowners with incomes of 60 percent to 80 percent of the city's area median income.
