HHA does more than just provide low-income Houstonians with safe, affordable homes. We also offer a host of programs to help public housing residents and voucher holders reach economic independence. The Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSS) is for current participants of Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP). The FSS program provides participants with community resources, money management workshops, credit repair and homeownership information. Participants work with an FSS Coordinator who helps them stay on track and achieve their goals.
